So the front sight base/gas block is well made.
Front sight post came with it, and works for adjustments. New gas tube (also purchased here at KM) mounted easily.
One oddity, the pins are smaller than the taper pins I painstakingly hammered out from my original FSB.. also, (and this is on me).. the learning curve for a FSB swap is certainly high. I did not realize a full FSB and handguard retainer cap swap is not a plug and play there is a bit of effort that goes into it for removal and then installation.
Got it mounted, still need to do a live fire test but it looks good. Pins are really the only thing that stand out. Seemed slimmer.
