My first experience with a ported barrel. I can actually say felt recoil is less than a non ported barrel; I had shot a standard G19 clone before shooting this slide/barrel on a GG frame.
I bought the slide for the looks and the ported barrel was just a bonus. Nice shooter. No hiccups with 150rnds so far.

I got this slide from a local store in town and it’s become my USPSA/carry slide for the past 4 months now. I’ve put around 3-4 thousand rounds through it and in that time I’ve only had problems with SOME steel cased ammunition. I’ve shot this thing so much the middle bridge on the top porting has blown out just leaving a big hole on top, however it has not seen any problems with reliability. I’ve treated this slide like trash and it has never failed me in a match nor class. The reduced recoil from the ports within the barrel is very noticeable. I look forward in continuing to compete with this slide and seeing what I can achieve with it!

I bought this item in January and planned on using it for my edc and uspsa events but just now got around to testing it at the range. It definitely shoots flat. Big improvement. I put close to 3 hundred rounds through it first time out. Everything from 115 gr to 147 gr. From steel to copper plated to JHP. It ate it all up with no issues.
FYI. There can be a quite noticeable flash that emits from the top of the ports when shooting in an indoor range or if shooting at night. No biggie for me. I 100% trust this slide and barrel to be on my edc. Thank KM
